I’ve never been more hyped for an episode than the next one, filler or not. This is the greatest callback to Dragon Ball they could ever do.

yeah it looks like they are trying to slowly bring everybody back up to speed. they just need to reawaken Gohans fighting spirit and give piccolo another power boost then we’d be back in business

Gohan’s already made a bit of a comeback, he can keep up with SSJ Goku. He might be suppressed a little, but still massively more powerful than RoF final form Frieza and he doesn’t have god ki

I don’t believe he can keep up with ssj goku 1 bit ssj goku is on a higher level now and first form frieza beat ssj gohan in rof in 1 punch.

it was very impressive. after super shenron, things arent as interesting. it doesnt feel as organic as dragonballz. especially frieza saga the best.

my point is goku get everything too easy now. with his new pals from space and a button to call somebody very important.
i mean bruh. too easy. and moving too fast. need more problems hard to solve. i dont think goku should have made pals like that. more like a servant or somebody to be used. This anime is more entertaining for the kids. it could be bothways, but its too easy and fast.

Actually it is, snowflake. Facing your fear is an effective treatment for some types of PTSD. Hiding away in a ‘safe space’ is the worst thing you can do.

the point of facing youre fear is the realisation that the fear is only there because of you distrust in youreself, when you teach a person to fully impower themselves and to show them they have the choice to make whatever dissision they want and change a situation to there licking then the fear disappears, fear is lack of so remove the lack/distrust and the fear is gone. a person in there full awarenis knows they can create there own reality to there liking annything els is just manipulation of a persons preception.

I guess you could compare this to extreme exposure therapy and it will probably work for Krillin but usually hallucinations are something you try to avoid in treating psychological disorders. Also there is obviously a middle ground between safe spaces and confronting hallucinations of people who tried (with varying degrees of success) to murder you.

I realize this is all a mental thing but catching bullets was a common ability that appeared in DB before the King Piccolo arc right? In that case is Krillin literally weaker than Tambourine right now?

I think it’s an implication that Killing has become to fearful to even fight after years of walking in the shadows of stronger warriors. If you’ve noticed throughout all of the Dragon Ball series Krillin has had this fearful side to him and it seems to be because he doesn’t believe in himself especially now after he’s put martial arts behind him. Krillin started off confident with Goku because they were kids but if you remember he was bullied at the first temple he studied martial arts at and when he fought in the first tournament was scared of the people that bullied him. He had a lot of fearful instances but I think the worse was when Frieza came back during the RoF arc it was like he lost his will to even fight back against even small fries. I’m hoping that Super will be the show to allow him to overcome his fears and maybe even judge his limits better.

I enjoyed that Gohan finally had a pretty energetic fight scene. It was also great that Goku didn’t just stomp him into the ground. I really want Gohan to come back full force for a while.

I really loved this episode and wished it was longer than just 20 some odd minutes.
I could watch hours of Goku and Krillin training and going on adventures.
This episode gave some proper respect to old school Master Roshi too.

I’m loving this throw back. It’s just like dragon ball. Krillin could never reach goku even though he was more disciplined and knowledgeable…. Also they’ve taken “the great sayaman” too far. Gohan needs to spend like 6 months (regular time) in the time chamber training and come out with his first ssj3 transformation. Or atleast get him training a little. He had the potential to be the strongest, now he might be too far behind to make him relevent strength wise .

What’s the point of gaining ssj3 if Mystic form is a much superior form without any drawbacks?

Also, Gohan is now confirmed God Tier, since Goku was serious in his base form(which is above SsjR during BoG) and ssj(superior compared to SsjR), yet Gohan was holding his own and actually fought on par with Goku and even managed to get a direct hit on Goku, while Goku didn’t.

What the fuck is wrong with them,
Kuririn or Krillin was bulletproof as a child,
why has he become that weak after being almost as
    powerfull as a kaioken Goku?

I applaud this episode. Rarely do I see episodes that tackle the issue of weakness in the rest of the Z fighters. I mean, the fact that Krillin was wounded by a bullet is saddening for me. He was once a near equal to Goku, a fighter who made it to the semi-finals more than once in the tournament, but now we only see Goku and Vegeta. Hope this is dubbed, because truthfully, the subbed dbz is much worse than dubbed.

Krillin is pretty much the pinnacle of human strength, so honestly i’m so hyped for him. the krillin owned count is funny and all, but he really is the underdog to end all underdogs and it is nice to see him power up (hopefully). i was shocked that bullets can hurt him (though i’m not sure if that is just how weapons work (i.e. goku getting shot with that laser and almost dying in the movie) or if he has actually fallen off like gohan.

as a side note thank god gohan’s SS form still has some balls, but the saiyaman thing is gay as fuck

I would say Tien is the pinnacle. If there’s any humans you can rely on to do some damage in a fight, its Tien. That Tri-Beam Cannon is nasty.

          • robert hall

please everyone chill… Krillin is the strongest pure human… Tien is not a human………. you all wanna boast your knowledge but not one person mentions tien and his whole tribe are descendants of aliens who invaded earth thousands of years ago I believe

          • Jon137

Tenshinhan is not human? In that case Yamcha is the strongest. His training in 10G in the afterlife is proof. He did stop training but so did Krillin.

i was under the impression that krillin had surpassed tien, but i could be wrong it’s been a while. aside from the “power levels are bullshit” argument, it sucks that most of the time when we see their abilities being used, they are against something that either negates it or just outranks it so hard it SEEMS worthless i.e. the destructo-disk or even the tri beam cannon.

we see people throw out random blasts that annihilate mountain sides and watch the enemies or the Z-warriors walk it off so it’s not like we ever get a good idea where everyone is at. that being said, toss up between tien and krillin at their peaks.

          • 2015Benz

Well remember Tien used tri-beam on imperfect cell to hold him down and he did a good bit of damage from the looks of it. So I would say from that stand poin he was stronger.

You guys know NOTHING about Dragon Ball history. Krillin is NOT the “pinnacle” of human strength. That statement is absolutely stupid. Tien Shinhan surpassed Krillin loooong back in the series. Also, Super is becoming more inconsistent than DBZ. Krllin hurt by a bullet? HOW? Kakarot as a child was hit by bullets, missiles, lighting, dodon ray, and remained unharmed. He also dodged all of those. Master Roshi in early Dragon Ball could catch bullets. This is so stupid. They did just crap just for the Narutard generation to get a kick out of it. It’s comical at best. I mean Raditz caught a shotgun bullet. Krillin is millions of times more powerful now.

i think YOU know nothing dragonball history. or at least how it works the whole point is that he has been doing NO training. he is out of shape. thats how it works. if you stop training, you get weak. super is very consistent, if you pay any attention at all. goku is a saiyan, which at default makes him more durable than bullets. the missle blew up his numbus, it didnt hit him. the lightning was part of his training with kami, and he DIDNT get hit by the dodon ray, the dragonball was in his shirt and it saved him, and just the force from the dragonball blocking it and being pushed against him was enough to knock him out, and tao thought he was dead. he never dodged a dodon ray. also, master roshi is the same now as he was in early dragonball, he is a martial arts master and has trained for presumably thousands of years since he doesnt age. examples of characters losing power from not training are these: gohan went from killing perfect cell, to losing to regular enemies (cell saga, to buu saga) and also went from fucking up superbuu in his baseform, to getting bodied by freeza in ssj2. in dbz if you stop training you lose power very easily, unless your power is artificial (like the androids) or you were born with it (like beerus). krillin hasnt trained presumably since the cell was defeated, meaning it is logical that he is very weak. he is not millions of times more powerful now, that is the whole plot of the whole damn episode! there is no “narutard generation” and nothing in this episode is meant to be comical except maybe chichi going kaioken. maybe you should watch the show you claim to know so much about before saying a bunch of dumb shit

I think krillen getting hurt by the bullet actually relates more to the fact that he stopped training. Yes in dragonball and dragon ball z he definitely could of dodged them, grabbed them or not get damaged by them, but since he stopped training completely his reflexes got slower and his body grew soft.

Disparities in power has always been a theme in the Dragon Ball series. The most recent one being this episode and, as stated above, we also saw it when goku was incapacitated as an SSJG by a simple ray gun (because he was off gaurd). Other examples that come to mind was USSJ Vegeta vs Perfect Cell. The USSJ form was stronger than Perfect Cell (as noted by android 16.) and thus arguably on par w/ SSJ2 (strength-wise) but ultimately failed because it was lacking speed. I think in theory it is reasonable to believe that the strongest form will ultimately be the base form, like we saw with Mystic Gohan vs Super Buu, again, as stated above. Although that last bit is just speculation.

Youre way too dense and Annoying. Krillin is human. He HASNT Trained. The concept of training is constant. Are you stupid? Do you need forever to think about it in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber? tsh.

          • DOKKAN DAVE

they Greatly stress what atrophy comes from lack of training even in a Saiyan like Gohan who struggles greatly now to maintain SSJ2 as a mutha f’n PROFESSOR in SCHOLAR TRAINING.

What. The. Fuck. Is. This. Bullshit…?
Seriously, how dare they even make this kind of shit? Master Roshi training Goku? Goku, who is a fucking GOD. Krillin is a character long forgotten and who no-one gives a fuck about anymore. And further yet, Krillin, a superhuman, getting hurt by a bullet? Whereas Goku was shot by a pistol as a child, no damage done? Goku’s power level as a child in the beginning? 10. Oh my fucking god.. Someone please tell Akira Toriyama to stop this, before people seriously start killing themselves. And before anyone starts giving me shit, I’m a hardcore Dragonball fan (since 2004 or so) and I’ve read all the manga, and watched every single episode, movie, and cutscene ever made (even fanmade). But this, this atrocity has no boundaries it seems. I’m questioning my sanity watching this.
